My name is Stacy Vandenput; I am a traditional midwife, certified through the North American Registry of Midwives and licensed by the State of Wisconsin.
I am the mother of three home-birthed children and grandmother of two: one born at home, the other born in Crown Point, Indiana in the back of our mini-van, while returning from our family vacation in New York.
I began helping families with their births in 1990, first as a Bradley Method childbirth instructor and labor assistant, then as an apprentice midwife under the tutelage of Alice Skenandore.
I have helped over 475 babies be born. Some families chose natural birth in hospitals or birthing centers, others chose to give birth at home.
